At Hydes Custom, we build heirloom-quality outdoor furniture using sustainably sourced Western Red Cedar—including old-growth cedar salvaged from forest fires in Oregon, Washington, and Northern California. Every board is glued (not just fastened) for durability, and most of our pieces come fully assembled.

Every piece is built with American Cedar, milled right here in the USA, ensuring durability and timeless beauty for family gatherings year after year.

What stain options do you offer?

We have 8 standard stain options, but if you don’t see the perfect match, we can create a custom finish for an additional charge.

  • Unlike mass-produced furniture that falls apart after a season, we craft every piece using high-grade exterior fasteners and precision joinery, so your furniture stays solid for years to come.

  • We use Western Red Cedar because it’s naturally weather-resistant, durable, and free from synthetic plastics or chemicals—good for your home and the environment.

  • Our rough-sawn cedar is salvaged from forest fires and features tighter growth rings, making it stronger and more durable than farmed wood.

  • Each piece is made one at a time by skilled craftsmen—no factory lines, no shortcuts, just quality work.

  • Need a different size? A custom stain? We are here to create something just as unique as you are. JUST ASK!
